Welcome at Gite Le champignon! You are at the perfect spot for renting a cozy, serene apartment with stunning view over the Ecrins massif, UNESCO World Heritage Site Mont Dauphin, the pittoresque town Guillestre and the old church of Risoul.

The gîte is ideally located between the two national parcs: Ecrins and Queyras, close to the beautiful nature reserve Val d'Escreins, beneath the skistations of Risoul and Vars (185km piste) and only minutes away from the Risoul forest. It's a perfect base for all kinds of activities such as (crosscountry)skiing, snowboarding, (snowshoe)hiking, (ice)climbing, mountainbiking, cycling, parapenting, kayaking and sightseeing.

Skiing — Winter activities

The chalet is a perfect base for countless winter activities. You can take a free shuttle from the chalet to the ski station of Risoul, from where you have access to over 185km of piste.

Forêt de Risoul — Summer activities

Whether you like hiking, climbing, parapenting, swimming, mountainbiking, cycling, doing via ferrata's, kayaking or other water sport activities, it's all possible within a short distance of the chalet.

Glacier blanc — Sightseeing

If you like to do sightseeing, you only have to look out of the window of the chalet to see the ecrin massive with it's glaciers, the world heritage site Mont Dauphin which has a marmot trail and the picturesque town Guillestre and the old church

The Gite is located in the quiet and friendly town of Les Bruns in Risoul, which is easy to reach. The road is kept snow free in the winter. In the nearby town of Guillestre you will find a bakery, a large supermarket and plenty of cosy restaurants to have dinner.
